The George presents The Karolyn Dudro Quintet in a live jazz concert setting. This Quintet features Karolyn Dudro, singing a variety of jazz standards, Brazilian Bossa Novas, and perhaps a bit of jazzified pop, courtesy of her music director and keyboardist, Brad Bietry.
An LA native from a large musical family, Karolyn Dudro grew up surrounded by a myriad of diverse musical influences. This has led her to an appreciation for all genres and styles. Although classically trained, Karolyn has always held a special place in her heart for the jazz tradition, drawing particular inspiration from jazz vocalists such as Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, and Nancy Wilson. Karolyn’s vocal range and tonal clarity evince her classical roots, a foundation which fosters the mixture of the soulful and the restrained.
The George will be offering their famous burgers, salads, small plates, and drinks. Doors open at 7pm. There will be a two drink minimum.
